Are you interested in making a difference by volunteering with UMAR residents? With 21 group homes and service provided to over 130 residents, volunteers are always needed to help support the growth and independence of the individuals we serve! UMAR has volunteer opportunities in all of our group homes including:

  • Playing games with the residents

  • Doing arts & crafts projects

  • Helping with yard work at the homes

  • Taking residents to sporting or entertainment events

  • Grocery shopping for residents

  • House cleaning

  • Washing vans

  • Bible study

  • Cooking a meal for a home

  • Hosting birthday & holiday parties for the residents

  • Serving on organizational committees for UMAR

No experience is necessary to volunteer, and background checks and appropriate training will be provided. If you have a specific talent or hobby that you would like to share with our residents, or if you have questions about other volunteer
