For 25 years, UMAR has had a positive impact on the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Even though we have been successful in fulfilling our mission for our past and current UMAR families, we still have a long way to go in order to help the thousands of adults with DD all across North Carolina who have no where else to turn.
